Our Story
Our founder, Bill Westmoreland, grew up on a North Carolina tobacco farm, finding peace and solitude in the nearby woods. He searched for a better life by joining the Marine Corps where he served for over a decade. After his service, he built multiple businesses with determination and vision. Near retirement, he discovered a Tennessee property that rekindled his childhood love of the outdoors, a reconnection to that peaceful place. He couldn't keep it to himself. From its creeks, waterfalls, and cliffs, he and his family created Cannon Creek—a luxury glamping retreat that reflects his lifelong spirit of adventure and his love for nature and connection.
